When it comes to cleaning tile and stone around the house, the rule is that less is better. By this we mean not so much detergents, but more like cleaners that do not leave residue behind that requires rinsing. Most cleaning companies are also aware, but do not practice this. They send their people out to clean with the usual drudgery of soaps and mops. The best over answer that I have found over the years is to use either amonia and water or vinegar and water for a fresh clean result. If a disinfectant is needed, a bit of dishwashing liquid added to hot water will take care of it. My advice is to think of your tile floors or walls as glass, after all the tile is fired and glazed it has a glass surface. For more extreme deep cleaning we offer a full line of cleaners for tile, stone, and grout maintainence.
